Isvara: Counselling service in Dorset

The saying ‘It’s good to talk’ isn’t just a saying – it really is true.

Often, the best place to find refuge during times of difficulty, is in counselling, where you can talk openly and confidentially about the problems you’re facing and get the support you need to cope and move forward.

Why counselling?

Counselling is a form of talking therapy, where you can discuss issues you’re facing and feelings you’re experiencing in a safe and confidential environment. Counselling can help you come to terms with those feelings and understand their cause, while also helping you find ways to manage them.

The benefits of counselling

Talking to loved ones about your feelings isn’t always easy and sometimes, speaking with a stranger can help you find answers without being judged. Counselling can help if you’re suffering with depression, anxiety disorders or panic attacks.

It can also help if you’re:

  • Feeling sad or stressed
  • Suffering with an addiction
  • Struggling with difficult life events or relationships issues
  • Experiencing a physical health problem
  • Unable to control emotions or behaviour
